If you would had told me as a boy growing up in Sweden that I would one day have a restaurant in New York City’s most dynamic neighborhood, I would have given you the recipe to my Mormor’s roast chicken. My experiences are my story—every hardship and hiccup, every achievement and accomplishment I’ve encountered along the way has brought me to this point. Every plate I put out at Red Rooster Harlem and Ginny’s Supper Club reflect the cities, people, kitchens, and spices I’ve come across throughout my journey, and now I share that with you. –Marcus Samuelsson
Red Rooster Harlem is hosting a dinner on June 28th and we want you to be there. You’re invited to experience the special menu inspired by Yes, Chef–there will be tastes from Sweden and Ethiopia, hints of sweet and sour, and plenty of appreciation and love.
The 3-course tasting menu is $95 ($125 with wine pairings) and the price includes tax, gratuity and a signed copy of Yes, Chef. Come join us for a culinary journey around the world as we celebrate Yes, Chef with live music and entertainment and a Q&A with Thelma Golden, Director and Chief Curator of The Studio Museum in Harlem.
